Interment details for Robert J. Sample

Robert's ashes are going to be transferred from his present resting place in Fayettville, GA. to Arlington Cemetery, Wash., D.C.

 

Below are the details I have regarding the ceremony at Arlington:

 

CONTACT:  Tel. no.:  703-607-8585.  Sorry I cannot give you the name of the office in which this no. is located....but, so far, the tel. has always been answered by a knowledgeable person.

 

DATE/TIME OF INTERNMENT:  May 14, 2008.  Time 1245.

 

CHAPEL/GRAVESITE:  Ft. Myer Old Post Chapel.  Urn to be placed in the ground.

 

HONORS:  Full honors to include Escort, Band, Bugler, Caisson, Six bearers.  No fly over.... which is reserved for those who hold the Silver Star Medal or higher.

 

ATTENDENCE: This ceremony is open to friends and relatives.  Mrs. Sample would be pleased if a representative from FMA  could be present.
