Herb- I don't have any details but the latest issue of the Military Officers Ass'n. monthly magazine has two former Flying Midshipmen from my Pre-Flight Class 12-48 listed in their "Sounding Taps" list. The first is Frank W. Preston (Half Moon Bay,CA). Preston (retired CDR,USN) is an FMA member. The second is Robert H. Lovelace (Retired Captain,USN and Florida resident). Lovelace is not an FMA member so you may not consider him eligible to be listed. Lovelace did have a quite distinguished career (Pre-Flight Regimental Commander, RA5C Squadron CO with lots of combat ribbons from Vietnam , east coast air wing commander and CO NAS Key West) I have those details but have not maintained any connection with him.
