Bill Busse's request for stories for the Log

To All: From Roy Mantz

I have been asked by your AvMidn LOG editor, Bill Busse, to thank you for your superb response to our
request for input to the Winter 2010 edition of The Aviation Midshipmen LOG.
Your stories helped make the "Unsung Heroes" issue one of our best
and it succeeded remarkably in honoring our many multi-engines jocks.

And now it is time to seek your help again.  In anticipation of publication of the Summer 2010
edition of the LOG, editor Busse is again seeking your input.  With this
issue, he plans to feature articles on "My Most Fearful Experience as a
Navy Pilot."  We know there are many of you with captivating,
hair-raising stories to tell and we would be pleased to have you share them
with your fellow association members.  So, dust off those untold stories,
relegate them to writing, and send them to Bill for publication.  And too,
remember the grand and great-grand kids who will enjoy reading of your
experiences.

In addition, Bill is always looking for more "How I happened into the Program" and "...always
a JOCK!!!"
stories and photos. Bill has set a June 15, 2010,
deadline for your submissions and will go to press a month later. Though he
prefers your stories written with MS Word and submitted as an e-mail attachment,
he will be just as happy to receive them by FAX or snail-mail.

This message is only going out to e-mail capable FMA members. If you know someone who might not receive
e-mail and who has a story to tell, please give him a call and ask him to respond.

Submit your input to:
