Fellow Flying Midshipmen:

It is my very sad duty to inform you of the death of our very good shipmate and dear friend, Glenn L. Allen, Jr.
Time of death was approximately 11 AM this morning (5-27-2009) at Fairfax Hospital. He suffered an aneurism in the Aorta that led to his death. His family was at his bedside when he expired.
Services will be at Arlington at a date to be determined (probably next week).
Our heartfelt sympathies and compassion are with Nancy and his family in this moment of deep grief.
Glenn will always be remembered for his great achievements which touched all our lives, his compassion for all, and his never ending sense of humor which made each of us in contact with him a better and happier person.
He will be sorely missed. Fair winds and following seas always, Glenn.
